Four new members appointed for PTF on Archaeological Heritage Management in East
August 25, 2020Four new members have been appointed to the 12- member Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Archaeological Heritage Management in the Eastern Province in an extraordinary gazette notification issued, yesterday (Aug 24).
According to the gazette notification, Asgiriya Chapter Most Ven. Vendaruwe Dharmakeerthi Sri Rathanapala Upali Abhidhana Anunayaka thero, Malwathu Chapter General Secretary Ven. Dr. Pahamune Sumangala Nayaka thero, Asgiri Chapter General Secretary Ven. Dr. Medagama Dhammananda Nayaka thero, Malwathu Chapter Karaka Sangha Sabha member Ven. Ambanwalle Sri Sumangala thero were the new members of the PTF.
The PTF on Archaeological Heritage Management was appointed on June 2 under the directives on President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, exercising the powers vested on him by Article 33 of the Constitution.
