228 more persons to leave from quarantine centres
August 26, 2020A total of 228 persons, who have returned from overseas, are scheduled to leave from quarantine centres today (Aug 26). In addition, five more persons tested positive for the Coronavirus and received treatment at hospitals have also left.
According to the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), the persons have been tested negative for the PCR tests conducted on completion of their isolation period upon arrival.
So far, a total of 32,816 persons have undergone quarantine and left the facilities, the NOCPCO stated.
Meanwhile, the total number of infected persons undergoing treatment at the Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre for Drug addicts at Kandakadu remains to 629, including 508 inmates. In addition, 72 staff members and 49 close associates and family members of the inmates.
