Civil Security Department to maintain Avukana Buddha Statue premises
October 11, 2020The Civil Security Department (CSD) has been entrusted with the privilege to maintain the area of sacred Avukana Buddha Statue from today (Oct 10), the CSD Media Division said.
Under the directives of the Director General CSD Rear Admiral Ananda Peiris, the CSD’s Galkiriyagama Training School has been assigned to the task.
CSD is extending their supportive hands to maintain the standards of sacred places with precious historic value in the country.
