Coronavirus situation update
October 15, 2020Coronavirus positive cases reported among the close contacts of Minuwangoda apparel factory cluster has increased to 1,770 today (15 Oct).
The country’s total number of Covid-19 positives has increased to 5,219 according to the epidemiology unit's information.
NOCPCO said along with the 9,974 PCR tests conducted yesterday, a total of 348,909 tests have been completed in the country and a total of 9,703 persons are undergoing quarantine in 88 facilities available.
According to NOCPCO, 52,612 persons have completed their quarantine period successfully so far.
Following total recovery, 29 coronavirus contracted patients of those repatriated from overseas were discharged from the hospital today morning.
