Army Troops Detect Smuggled Cannabis
October 27, 2020The Army troops recovered a stock of 26.9 kgs of Kerala cannabis from a concealed place in the Ouluthuduwai beach front in Peasalai.
Mannar-based 54 Division troops of the Security Force Head Quarters (SFHQ)-Wanni recently conducted search operation following intelligence received and found the cannabis .
On the directives of SFHQ Wanni Commander, Maj.Gen. Priyantha Perera, the troops regularly engage to eradicate the drug menace from the country.
The stock was handed over to the Police for further investigations.
