130 from Minuwangoda apparel cluster fully recovered - NOCPCO
October 28, 2020A total of 130 close contacts of the Minuwangoda apparel employees who were under quarantine at quarantine centres were fully-recovered and discharged from hospitals as at Oct 27, the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said.
57,814 individuals have completed quarantining and left for homes while 8,090 persons are still in quarantine in 75 tri service-managed quarantine centres as of yesterday (Oct 27), NOCPCO stated.
According to the Epidemiology Unit (EU) of the Health Ministry, the total recovered from Coronavirus positives rose to 4043 and 4808 persons are undergoing medical treatments at hospitals.
Meanwhile, 8870 Coronavirus positives have been reported in Sri Lanka while Sri Lanka's death toll rose to 19.
