A total of 67 persons recovers from the Minuwangoda cluster

Along with the total of 586 Coronavirus positives identified yesterday (29), the total number of confirmed cases in Sri Lanka increased to 9,791 according to the Epidemiology Unit, Health Ministry.

The National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said a total of 59,314 persons have returned to their homes on completion of the quarantine process as of today (29).

The total number of recovered persons today recorded as 67 from the Minuwangoda apparel industry cluster.  

NOCPCO also indicates that the confirmed cases within the Minuwangoda cluster has increased to 6313 and 1,041 out of them were staffers of the apparel industry.

A total of 6,463 persons are isolated in military-managed 64 quarantine centres as of today (30).

Along with 11,773 PCR tests conducted yesterday, the total PCR tests conducted in the country is recorded as 490,563 NOCPCO also said.
