A total of 137 persons recover from the Minuwangoda cluster
October 31, 2020Along with the total of 633 Coronavirus positives identified yesterday (30), the total number of confirmed cases in Sri Lanka increased to 10,424 according to the Epidemiology Unit, Health Ministry.
The National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said a total of 60,079 persons have returned to their homes on completion of the quarantine process as of today (31).
The total number of recovered persons today recorded as 137 from the Minuwangoda apparel industry cluster.
NOCPCO also indicates that the confirmed cases within the Minuwangoda cluster has increased to 6,946 and 1,041 out of them were staffers of the apparel industry.
A total of 5,760 persons are isolated in military-managed 60 quarantine centres as of today (31).
Along with 12,106 PCR tests conducted yesterday, the total PCR tests conducted in the country is recorded as 502,669 NOCPCO also said.
