NOCPCO Head Inspects emergency hospital construction project in Kilinochchi
November 01, 2020Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID 19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva inspected the ongoing emergency hospital construction project in Krishnapuram, Kilinochchi, yesterday (Oct 31).
The construction is carried out in the wake of the spread of COVID - 19 pandemic with the support of the MOH Kilinochchi to treat COVID - 19 patients.
Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva during the visit had a conference with the Commander Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi Maj. Gen. Sampath Kotuwegoda and the Senior Officers.
Subsequently Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva visited the construction site with in the company of the Senior Officers and the construction team.
