Army's 64 Division Troops engage in disinfection of Public Places in Mullaittivu
November 05, 2020Mullattivu-based 64 Division troops carried out a disinfection programme in the public places in Mullattivu in order to mitigate risks of contamination during the spread of COVID - 19 threat.
Troops of the 641 Brigade, 643 Brigade, 14 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and 13 Sri Lanka National Guard involved in the disinfection programme on Friday (30) following the directions of Commander of the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu Maj. Gen. Jagath Rathnayake and General Officer Commanding, 64 Division Maj. Gen. Ajith Pallawela.
The programme covered public places in Oddusuddan and Kachchiyamadu areas under the supervision of, Commander 641 Brigade Col. Janak Jayawardana.
Members of the Public Health Inspectors of respective areas supported the troops in the disinfection project.
