Five Coronavirus deaths reported yesterday

Coronavirus deaths in Sri Lanka have risen to 29 with five more deaths reported yesterday evening (Nov 05), the Government Information Department's statement confirmed.

Director General of Health Services Asela Gunawardena confirmed that the four deaths were reported from Colombo and one from Wellampitiya.

The deceased which included three women and two men had been tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Accordingly, a 46-year-old male resided in Colombo 2, who died at the Pimbura Base Hospital was a kidney patient.

A  68-year-old woman from Wellampitiya who had been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital due to suffering from chest pain had died.

Three persons who died at home included a 58-year-old female resided in Colombo 12, a 73-year-old female from Colombo 14 and a 74-year-old male from Colombo 15.
