November 09, 2020SL Navy and Coast Guard sprang into action on 02 November to save a pod of pilot whales beached in Panadura area.
Marine Environment Protection Authority, SL Police, Department of Wildlife, and local volunteers also extended their support to save these intrinsically valuable spices.
This mission signifies the interconnectedness of the military and other government agenesis and protecting the island’s maritime environment.
