Police recovers abandoned Lord Murugan statue from Manipay
November 09, 2020Manipay Police has recovered an abandoned 7 inch height Lord Murugan statue, three Peafowl statuaries and unidentified metal utensil packed in a delivery sack near Chankanai Kovil in Manipay, Jaffna yesterday (8).
The Army’s 11 SLLI regiment in Chankanai had informed the local Police authorities following information received on abandoned items.
Manipay Police is conducting further investigations into the incident.
