SLA imparts pandemic preventive measures to the rural community
November 10, 2020Sri Lanka Army’s 652 Brigade conducted recently a poster campaign programme on pandemic preventive measures to educate the regional community in Anavilandankulam.
The focal area of the programme was on its adverse effects and how it would affect the general health of the mass.
The entire campaign had covered remote interior areas of Akkarayankulam, Anavilandankulam, Konavil, Skandapuram and Uniyankulam.
The target audience of these areas hardly has accesses to various types of electronic and social media networks.
The edification programme is a brainchild of 652 Brigade Commander, Brigadier Anil Perera and posters issued by the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak were also distributed during the programme to educate the regional community.
