2,277 persons isolated in 28 quarantine centres
November 11, 2020A total of 2,277 persons are isolated in military-managed 28 quarantine centres as of today (11), the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said.
Along with the total of 430 Coronavirus positives identified yesterday (10), the total number of confirmed cases in Sri Lanka has increased to 14,715 according to the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry.
NOCPCO confirmed all the 430 positives identified yesterday are locals.
A total of 64,263 persons have returned homes on completion of the quarantine process
NOCPCO indicated that the confirmed cases within the Minuwangoda cluster has increased to 11,237 whereas 1,041 of them were staffers of the apparel industry.
Along with 8,272 PCR tests conducted yesterday, the number of total PCR tests conducted in the country is recorded as 619,108 NOCPCO also said.
