SLAF’s 6th aviation contingent departed for MINUSCA
November 11, 2020Initiating the annual change of Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) personnel of Aviation Unit which operates under the United Nations helicopter deployment in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA), the interchanging contingent departed the country yesterday (Nov 10).
The 6th contingent led by Wing Commander JS Samarasekara comprised of 110 personnel including 18 officers and 92 airmen will join the mission accordingly.
The SLAF contingent departed to the Central Africa from the Bandaranaike International Airport in keeping with the healthcare guidelines.
