A total of 10,111 PCR tests conducted yesterday (12)
November 13, 2020Along with 10,111 PCR tests conducted yesterday (12 Nov), the number of total PCR tests conducted in the country is recorded as 637,122, the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) said.
A total of 2,845 persons are isolated in military-managed 30 quarantine centres as of today (13), NOCPCO also said.
Along with the total of 373 Coronavirus positives identified today (13), the total number of confirmed cases in Sri Lanka increased to 15,722 according to the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry.
NOCPCO confirmed 373 positives identified yesterday are locals and four of them are Sri Lankans arrived from overseas.
Further, it states that the confirmed cases within the Minuwangoda cluster increased to 12,226.
According to the Epidemiology Unit details, the country’s Coronavirus death toll remains at 48.
The Sri Lanka Police announced yesterday (12), drone cameras will be operated to monitor the movements in isolated zones until the stipulated isolation period ends.
