Defence Secretary inspects construction work at Sandahiru Stupa
November 15, 2020Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne arrived at the Sandahiru Stupa construction site in Anuradhapura to inspect the progress of the construction work yesterday.(Nov 14)
Maj. Gen. Gunaratne was was briefed on the present status of the on-going construction work at the site.
Necessary instructions and directives were also given to the respective officials involved in the mega project by the Defence Secretary during the session.
Maj. Gen. Gunaratne also placed few bricks on the Stupa to mark the occasion.
