327 Coronavirus positives reported on yesterday (18)
November 19, 2020A total of 327 coronavirus positives identified yesterday (18 Nov) increased the number of Coronavirus infected persons in the island to 18,402, the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said.
The number infected persons associated to the Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster increased to 14,889, National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) confirmed today (19).
A total of 11,105 PCR tests were conducted on Wednesday, NOCPCO also said.
Three coronavirus infected deaths were reported during last 24 hours, and those were reported from Kandana, Colombo 13 and Colombo 12.
According to the Epidemiology Unit details, the Country’s COVID-19 death toll remains as 69.
A total of 3,419 persons are isolated in military-managed 33 quarantine centres as of today, NOCPCO also said.
