439 Coronavirus positives reported on yesterday (19)
November 20, 2020A total of 439 coronavirus positives identified yesterday (19 Nov) increased the number of Coronavirus infected persons in the island to 18,841, the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said.
The number of infected persons associated with the Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda Fish Market cluster increased to 15,324, the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO) confirmed today (20).
A total of 10,356 PCR tests were conducted on Thursday, NOCPCO also said.
Four coronavirus infected deaths were reported during the last 24 hours, and those were reported from Kaluthara, Colombo 10 and Colombo 15.
According to the Epidemiology Unit details, the country’s COVID-19 death toll rose to 73.
A total of 3,812 persons are isolated in military-managed 36 quarantine centres as of today, NOCPCO also said.
