Combine Missions

The Sri Lankan military has immensely supporting in UN peacekeeping missions to maintain peace and security in the world.  

The 4th  contingent of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Aviation Unit – United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) conducted a special community service project at the children’s orphanage in Akobo on 16 Nov.

The initial group of the Sri Lankan Army Medical Corps (SLAMC) Contingent and annual changing of personnel of the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) 05th  Aviation Contingent set for United Nations Peace-Keeping Mission in South Sudan’s (UNMISS), received warm wishes at the Bandaranaike International Airport on 17 Nov.

Sri Lanka has been contributing to United Nations peacekeeping missions since 1960.
