New IGP pays courtesy call on Defence Secretary
December 02, 2020Inspector General of Police (IGP) C.D. Wickramaratne paid a courtesy call on Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne at the Defence Ministry today (Dec 2).
This was the IGP’s first meeting with the Defence Ministry Secretary following his taking over of duties as the 35th IGP in Sri Lanka Police.
During the session, Maj. Gen. Gunaratne extended warm wishes to the IGP Wickramaratne for his future endeavours.
Mementos were also exchanged to mark the event.
