New SL Coast Guard Director General calls on State Minister of Defence
November 16, 2022The newly appointed Director General of the Sri Lanka Coast Guard (SLCG) Rear Admiral Pujitha Vithana paid a courtesy call on the State Minister of Defence Hon. Premitha Bandara Tennakoon at his office in Colombo today (Nov 16).
The State Minister and the Coast Guard chief had a cordial discussion during the meeting. The State Minister extended his wishes to Rear Admiral Vithana for all his future endeavours.
Rear Admiral Vithana received his letter of appointment as the 7th Director General of the SLCG from the Defence Secretary last month (Oct 28).
Rear Admiral Vithana presented a memento to the State Minister to mark the occasion.
