Army to plant coconut saplings in 30 acres
December 07, 2020The Sri Lanka Army inaugurated the planting of coconut saplings in 30 acres land area within the Kuttigala campsite in keeping with the 'Thuru Mithuru - Nawa Ratak' cultivation project.
The troops of 1 Sri Lanka Army General Service Corps farm at Kuttigala joined the inaugural planting ceremony recently under the supervision of its Commanding Officer Lt. Col. C.S Demuni.
Senior military officers and other ranks of the farm were present at the inaugural project.
