Philippines Defence Attaché calls on Defence Secretary
December 09, 2022The Defence Attaché of the Embassy of Philippines Colonel Rolando P Gomez made a call on the Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunarate at the Defence Ministry in Akuregoda, Battaramulla today (09 Dec).
Upon extending a warm reception to Colonel Gomez, Defence Secretary Gen. Gunaratne had a cordial discussion with the Philippines Defence Attaché where matters of bilateral importance including improving defence ties were discussed.
Gen. Gunaratne and Colonel Gomez also exchanges mementoes to mark the occasion.
Military Liaison Officer of the Ministry of Defence Maj. Gen. Dinesh Nanayakkara was also present at the occasion.
