Gen. Kottegoda appointed as new KDU Chancellor
December 23, 2022Gen. SHS Kottegoda (Rtd) has been appointed as the Chancellor of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University by Hon. President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
A Press Release by the President's Media Division states that President Wickremesinghe had made this appointment in terms of Section 7B (1) of the Sir John Kotelawala Defence Academy Act No. 68 of 1981 as amended.
Gen. Kottegoda has been appointed as the Chancellor for a period of five years.
