Military personnel donate blood to replenish blood stocks
December 28, 2022Sri Lanka Navy organised a blood donation campaign at the Navy General Hospital in Welisara, yesterday (Dec 27) in line with the 72nd Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Navy.
A large group of naval personnel attached to the Western Naval Command contributed to the noble cause, Navy Media reported.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops of the Security Force Headquarters (SFHQ) -Wanni recently donated blood to the Blood Bank at Vavuniya District Hospital during a programme at the Field Hospital of the SFHQ –Wanni.
A group of 100 Wanni troops donated blood to replenish bloodstocks at the Vavuniya District Hospital, the SLA sources stated.
