Website of Disaster Management Division launched
January 02, 2023The official website of the Disaster Management Division of the Ministry of Defence of Sri Lanka https://disastermin.gov.lk was launched by State Minister of Defence Hon. Premitha Bandara Tennakoon MP at the Ministry premises in Colombo today (Jan 02).
The State Minister who arrived at the State Ministry launched the website and had a cordial discussion with the officials of the Disaster Management Centre (DMC), Meteorology Department and National Building Research Organisation (NBRO).
Director General of the DMC Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, Director General of Meteorology Department Mr. A.K. Karunanayake, Director General NBRO Eng. (Dr.) Asiri Karunawardena, Senior Assistant Secretary (Defence), Ministry of Defence Mr. Harsha Withanarachchi and senior officials were also present at the occasion.
