KDU nursing degree recognized by SLNC
January 09, 2023The BSc Nursing Programme offered by the Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) has been accredited by the Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC).
The KDU media sources state, the BSc Nursing Programme offered by Faculty of Allied Health Sciences has been accredited with effect from Jan 01 this year.
The Department of Nursing and Midwifery of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, KDU will be recognized as a SLNC accredited training institution for nursing education and thereby accepting the degree certificate awarded by KDU to award SLNC registration for BSc Nursing degree holders from KDU, it says.
The KDU has been offering a 4-year BSc Nursing (Honours) degree since year 2013. Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC) is the professional body that regulates nursing practice in Sri Lanka.
