INS ‘Delhi’ arrives at Port of Trincomalee
January 16, 2023The Indian Naval Ship (INS) ‘Delhi’ arrived at the Port of Trincomalee, on a formal visit yesterday (15), was welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) in keeping with the naval traditions.
Commanding Officer of the ship Capt. Shiraz Husain Azad is scheduled to meet the Eastern Naval Area Commander Rear Admiral Dammika Kumara at the Eastern Naval Command Headquarters today (16).
The visiting ship which is a 163.2m long Destroyer, manned by a crew of 390, will take part in several programmes organized by the SLN including a sightseeing excursion in Trincomalee, the SLN said.
INS ‘Delhi’ will depart the island on Jan 17, the SLN added.
