KDU explores educational avenues with Vineyard Education
January 26, 2023The Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) and Vineyard Education recently had discussions to find ways to promote cooperation and collaboration including the potential for establishing educational programs for international students and undertaking international joint ventures, says KDU media sources.
The KDU Vice Chancellor Major General Milinda Peiris and Chairman and Founder of Vineyard Education Dr Alias Jacob met for discussion when the latter visited the KDU leading a delegation last week (20 Jan) with the aim of exploring possibilities of collaborating on projects, including recruiting international students to KDU, it says.
Vineyard Education assists developing markets in Asia, the Middle East and Africa to offer world-class education by setting up schools, colleges, and institutes while partnering with the best education providers in Canada, the US, and the UK.
KDU Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Defence & Admin), Deans of several faculties and several other senior officials were also present at the discussion.
