Army troops douse fire in paddy field stretch at Weragama
February 02, 2023Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops under the Security Force Headquarters - West (SFHQ-West) together with fire fighters in the Fire Brigade, Kalutara and civilians controlled spreading and doused a fire that erupted in a paddy field stretch at Weragama recently.
1 Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps (SLAPC) of the 612 Infantry Brigade swiftly attended the cause following an information received from civilians in Wadduwa area, the SLA sources stated.
