Russian Ambassador meets Defence Secretary
December 09, 2020The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Yury Materiy met the Defence Secretary Maj. Gen. (Retd) Kamal Gunaratne at the Ministry today (09 Dec).
The Defence Secretary and the Ambassador had a cordial discussion on matters of bilateral importance and mutual relevance during the session.
Defence Attaché to the Russian Embassy in Sri Lanka, Colonel Denis I. Shkoda was also present at the meeting.
Military Liaison Officer Brig. Dinesh Nanayakkara and Additional Secretary (Defence) Mr. PBSC Nonis were present from the Defence Ministry at the discussion.
