Beach Volleyball training for Jaffna Youth
February 16, 2023The Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops under the Security Force Headquarters – Jaffna conducted a Beach Volleyball training session at Talaidy Beach recently for the youth in Vadamarachchi - East in the Jaffna peninsula.
Members of 15 sports clubs in the peninsula participated in training spearheaded by Army Beach Volleyball trainers and coaches, along with civil experts, the SLA sources stated.
The event was organized by troops of the 10 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment, 12 (V) Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment of the 553 Infantry Brigade, the Army Media reported.
General Officer Commanding 55 Infantry Division Major General Prasanna Gunarathne, Officers and state officials were also present at the event.
