Army troops clean Weligama beach belt
February 27, 2023The Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops of 3 Gemunu Watch under the 613 Infantry Brigade of the Security Force HQ-West (SFHQ-West) recently cleaned the beach along the Weligama coastal belt.
The SLA sources state that the project was conducted under the directions of Commander, SF-West Maj. Gen. Deepal Pussella.
Weligama Municipal Council employees, foreigners, residents, students and parents of Weligama Siddhartha College also joined the beach cleaning project.
