A Shared Vision for the Indo - Pacific
February 28, 2023The launch of the book "A Shared Vision for the Indo - Pacific" in partnership with the United States Embassy in Colombo and the Kotalawala Defence University (KDU) was held yesterday (Feb 27) at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo.
The Vice Chancellor - KDU, Major General Milinda Peiris, presented the maiden copy of the publication to the US Ambassador to Sri Lanka, HE Julie Chung.
Director of Daniel K. Inouye Asia - Pacific Centre for Security Studies and US Navy Rear Admiral (Retd) Peter A. Gumataotao delivered the keynote address at the event.
The book, edited by Dr. Harinda Vidanage, includes articles and remarks offering a variety of perspectives on strategy from regional analysts and US experts, the US Embassy said.
