SL Army troops donate much needed blood
March 14, 2023More than 100 Sri Lanka Army troops serving under Security Force HQ- East and Security Forces-West donated blood during two separate occasions recently.
According SL Army media sources, 80 army personnel of the 6 Gajaba Regiment of the 233 Infantry Brigade of the 23 infantry Division in the East volunteered to donate blood to the Batticaloa Blood Bank while 25 army personnel of 142 Infantry Brigade and 7 Battalion Gemunu Watch in the West volunteered to donate blood at a blood donation campaign held at Piliyandala Mampe Sri Vijayawardhanarama Purana Maha Viharaya.
