Defence Services’ motor racing championship - 2023 held at Welisara
March 24, 2023The 12th Defence Services’ Motor Racing Championship - 2023 conducted by the Sri Lanka Navy was held at Colombo Super Cross Racing Track at Welisara recently.
The Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Director General of Ground Operation, Air Vice Marshal Waruna Gunawardhana graced as the Chief Guest of the Championship vied by 18 riders from Tri-Forces.
The Sri Lanka Army (SLA) riders secured the Championship while the SLAF was adjudged the runner-up of the event, the SLA sources stated.
Senior officers from the Tri-Services also witnessed the event.
