State Defence Minister and President’s Senior Advisor on national security encourage CSD staffers
March 24, 2023The services rendered by the Civil Security Department (CSD) personnel were greatly valued by State Minister of Defence Hon. Premitha Bandara Tennakoon at the CSD Headquarters at Katubedda, Moratuwa today (Mar 24).
State Minister Tennakoon expressed his gratitude during a visit made to the CSD Headquarters along with the Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the President on National Security Mr. Sagala Rathnayake.
Both high ranking defence officials during their visit highly praised the services rendered by CSD to the motherland.
Maj. Gen. Ranjan Lamahewage (Retd), CSD Director General (DG) accorded a warm reception to the both high ranking state officials on their arrival to the CSD Headquarters premises and they were accompanied for a cordial interaction with the senior CSD officers and staffers during the session.
Ensuing the exchange of pleasantries Maj. Gen. Lamahewage presented mementos to the State Minister and the Chief of Staff to the President to symbolize the visit and as a gesture of goodwill.
Senior CSD officers and members were also associated with the occasion.
