Defence Ministry Seva Vanitha Unit presents dry ration packs to employees
April 11, 2023The Seva Vanitha Unit (SVU) of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) organized an event at the Ministry today (11 Apr) to present dry ration packs to civil minor staff members.
Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne graced the event and handed over dry ration packs to beneficiaries in the presence of the Chairperson of the MOD SVU Mrs. Chithrani Gunaratne.
Accordingly, more than 200 civil minor staff employees serving in the Ministry including drivers, office assistants, janitors and others were presented with valuable dry ration packs as an incentive for this festive season.
Senior Ministry officers and members of the SVU were also present at the occasion.
