SL Army troops in Mullaithivu donate blood
May 04, 2023Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops in Mullaithivu donated blood at a blood donation campaign organized in view of the Vesak Poya festival, recently (May 01).
According to SLA media sources, more than 120 army personnel serving under the Security Force Headquarters - Mullaittivu (SFHQ- MLT) volunteered to donate blood at the programme held at the SFHQ - MLT camp premises with the assistance of Mullaittivu District Hospital authorities.
Meanwhile, in parallel with the national Dengue Prevention Week, troops serving in the 592 Infantry Brigade conducted a Dengue Prevention Programme at the Mullaittivu District Hospital premises at the request of the hospital director recently.
