'Dhamma' sermon in view of Vesak Full Moon Poya held at the Defence Ministry
May 04, 2023A special ‘Dhamma’ sermon was held at the Defence Ministry premises today (May 04) in view of the forthcoming Vesak Full Moon Poya celebration.
A large gathering of Ministry staffers was present at the "Bana" sermon which was presided over by Ven. Ududumbara Kashyapa thero in the morning session.
Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne received the Venerable thero on his arrival and invited him to deliver the Bana sermon following religious rituals.
Chairperson of the MoD Seva Vanitha Unit Chithrani Gunaratne, senior Ministry officers, military and civil staffers were also present at the occasion.
