Army Planted 300 Saplings in Sinna Sippikulam Area
December 13, 2020The Army’s 213 Brigade troops planted 300 saplings including Kumbuk, Naa, Mango around the Sinna Sippikulam area.
General Officer Commanding - 21 Division of the Security Force HQ – Wanni Maj. Gen. Vikum Liyanage directed the troops in the project.
The project also complements the Army Commander’s tree planting drive, ‘Thuru Mithuru - Nawa Ratak’ national drive together with the Forest Conservation Department officials.
213 Brigade Commander, Brig. Rasika Kumara, Commanding Officer of 5 (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry joined the event.
