Army conducts dengue prevention programme in Polonnaruwa
May 29, 2023Sri Lanka Army (SLA) conducted a Dengue Prevention Programme recently in Polonnaruwa and its suburbs.
Army's 234 Infantry Brigade troops of the 23 Infantry Division in Punani, troops of the 7 Sri Lanka Artillery and the 12 Gemunu Watch in coordination with the Polonnaruwa office of the Medical Officer of Health (MOH), carried out the dengue eradication programme, the Army media reported.
Health Inspectors in the MOH Polonnaruwa, Police officers of Polonnaruwa and local community members also joined the programme.
