Army badminton player wins Bronze Medal in International Tournament
June 14, 2023Sri Lanka Army’s Private B.D.D.T Gunethilaka representing Sri Lanka secured a bronze medal in the Badminton (men’s double) event in the International Challenge Badminton Tournament, recently held in Maldives.
Mr Viren Nettasinghe was the partner of Private Gunethilaka, the Army sources stated.
The World Badminton Federation organized the tournament with the sponsorship of Li-Ning, a Chinese sportswear and sports equipment company.
