School children get drinking water through SL Air Force initiative
June 19, 2023Students of Wathawana Primary School in Imaduwa are benefitted by a drinking water system was installed by the Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) recently (Jun 15). According to SLAF media, the water supply system was installed under the 56th phase of the 'Guwan Mithudam' project, fulfilling a much needed facility of the school.
This will cater to the drinking water requirement of 126 children of the school. The completed facility was handed over to the use of children by the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Koggala, Group Captain Thilina Rajapksha during a ceremony held at the school.
