‘Dupuy de Lôme’ arrives in Colombo
June 21, 2023Making a formal visit the French Naval Ship ‘Dupuy de Lôme’ arrived at the port of Colombo this morning (Jun 21).
According to Navy media sources, the visiting French ship was accorded a traditional naval welcome upon its arrival to the country.
The 102.40m long ‘Dupuy de Lôme’ is an electromagnetic Research Vessel and carries a crew of 107 personnel. It is commanded by Commander Augustin Blanchet.
The French crew is scheduled to visit several local tourist attractions before departing the island next Tuesday (Jun 27).
