Outgoing DG - INSS pays farewell call on Defence Secretary
October 03, 2023Acting Director General and the Director (Communications and Publications) of the Institute of National Security Studies (INSS) Rear Admiral (Retd) Dimuthu Gunawardena paid a courtesy farewell call on the Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne at the Defence Ministry, Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte today (Oct 3).
Gen. Gunaratne warmly received Rear Admiral Gunawardena and had cordial interactions with him. During the conversation, the Defence Secretary admired his unwavering effort and expertise which propelled the institute to new heights.
Gen. Gunaratne also presented a souvenir to the outgoing senior officer as a gesture of goodwill and to mark the occasion.
