Army Athlete wins Silver in Javelin Throw in 'Asian Games'
October 04, 2023Sri Lanka Army’s Sergeant Nadeesha Lekamge of 2 (V) Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) won the Silver Medal in Javelin Throw in the ‘Asian Games’ China with a new Sri Lankan record.
The Army sources state that more than 12,000 athletes from all 45 members of the Olympic Council of Asia are participating in the ‘19th Asian Games’, now underway in Hangzhou, China.
