Defence Secretary looks into Kollupitiya tragedy
October 06, 2023Defence Secretary General Kamal Gunaratne visited the accident site in Kollupitiya today (Oct. 6) to inspect the tragedy in which a tree collapsed on a moving bus travelling from Colombo to Deniyaya.
Gen. Gunaratne directed the tri-force relieving teams, top police officers and fire relief teams to expedite the procedures to be performed in response to the accident.
